A response to Everyone Calls Themselves An Ally Until It Is Time To Do Some Real Ally Shit

February 13, 2014

If, on the other hand, the approach was more about MUTUAL liberation, where unsettling settler people were able to be viewed as FELLOW champions of our mutual desires….

Challenge to Unsettling America Collective, re: allyship

May 14, 2013

This post was sent to unsettlingamerica.wordpress.com today. Since they’ve never replied to anything i’ve posted (and often don’t publish my comments), i’m deciding to go a little more “proactive” in my views. Of course, i welcome dissent, and will join anyone in dialogue either here or on the forum of your choice (www.firstnations.com/forum anyone?) Specifically, […]

March 8, 2013

This art was made to honor the Oklevueha Native American Church, and was published on one of their sites. Tho i am a member, i have not yet had the privilege (?) to actually meet any other open members of this church, nor be a part of any of the proceedings. Perhaps that will change […]

Worth thinking through ‘smash pacifism’ critique of nonviolent tacts

January 23, 2013

There has been a small increase in a valid discussion centering around nonviolence that i think i have much to add to, but which, for some reason, is being ignored by the two camps involved. But are we REALLY looking at the choices we’re making when it comes to having ANY kind of contact with corporate mindlock? (Oh, sure, their reps are very very nice, even good folks, but what we never see are those who tool them

Elders teach about our limits, youngers teach potentials!

August 19, 2010

I think there are still scads of openings for radically sane approaches. Approaches which professional provacateurs don’t want (for insightful reasons) us to even imagine we can seriously engage in.

Depth of Trudell’s June speech in Detroit misses “the heart”, re: ruling class alienation

August 12, 2010

Trudell spoke in Detroit getting into some really deep truths (even more then usual), yet he misses some crucial truths, in my view. Tho saying that we need to think through why our methods for the last hundred-odd years haven’t worked–and have only built up “the beast”, Trudell, I think, missed (or thoughtfully left out for us to come up with?!?) the reality that “the ruling class” is severely alienated, and that heaping more alienation on them will not solve our mutual challenges.
