Dover Coloring book sublimely or openly racist?

cover of the coloring book in question

Here’s some color peices i added to this coloring book, which i bought somewhat uncritically not long ago. I wanted to send this to a leading voice of indigenous governance but my email suddenly stopped working! (first time for that!)

Note: the copyright notice on the coloring book explicitly allows for up to 4 pages of their book to be used in independent projects.

An interesting topic to focus on for kids...

Why does Dover/writer focus on such emotively negative topics in a kids' coloring book?

this goes best with the next page...

The accompanying text tells us how to think about those who wore more finery in clothing, while most went nude into war.
